Product Care & Use Guide

Thank you for choosing Cowgirl Cuff.

Every cuff is handcrafted in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and designed to bring together western style and everyday practicality. Proper fit, care, and maintenance will help you enjoy your cuffs for years to come.

How to Wear Your Cowgirl Cuffs

Cowgirl Cuffs are designed to attach to the back of your western boots and help lift the back hem of your jeans off the ground.

To wear your cuff:

  1. Position the cuff on the back of your boot.

  2. Make sure the center support rests on the heel ledge of the boot.

  3. Adjust the fit gently if needed.

  4. Allow your jean hem to rest naturally over the cuff.

When properly positioned, the cuff helps reduce dragging and fraying while adding a handcrafted western accent to your outfit.

Finding the Right Fit

Cowgirl Cuffs are designed to work with most western-style boots.

Because boots vary by manufacturer and style, you may need to make slight adjustments to achieve the best fit.

A properly fitted cuff should:

  • Sit securely on the back of the boot

  • Remain comfortable during normal wear

  • Support the jean hem without excessive movement

Best Jean Styles

Cowgirl Cuffs work especially well with:

  • Bootcut jeans

  • Flare jeans

  • Longer western denim styles

They are ideal for helping protect jean hems that tend to drag, collect dirt, or show signs of wear.

Everyday Wear Expectations

Cowgirl Cuffs are wearable accessories designed for real western lifestyles.

Whether you're:

  • Running errands

  • Attending a rodeo

  • Spending time at the ranch

  • Going to a country concert

  • Enjoying everyday western fashion

your cuffs are intended to add both function and style.

Like any wearable accessory, normal signs of use may develop over time.

Finish Care

Each Cowgirl Cuff is individually handcrafted and finished by hand.

To help preserve your cuff:

  • Wipe with a soft dry cloth when needed

  • Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals

  • Store in a dry location

  • Avoid prolonged moisture exposure when possible

Because each cuff is handmade, slight variations in finish, texture, and color are part of the character of the product.

Decorative Hardware Care

Many Cowgirl Cuff designs include decorative conchos, stones, or other hardware accents.

We recommend periodically checking decorative hardware and concho screws to ensure everything remains secure.

Normal wear, repeated flexing, riding, moisture exposure, and everyday use may occasionally require minor tightening.

Normal Wear vs. Defects

Because Cowgirl Cuffs are worn on boots during everyday activities, some wear is expected.

Normal wear may include:

  • Minor finish wear

  • Cosmetic scratching

  • Chipping or fading over time

  • Hardware loosening through use

These conditions are considered normal product aging and not manufacturing defects.

Handmade with Character

No two Cowgirl Cuffs are exactly alike.

Every piece is assembled and finished by hand in small batches, which means slight variations are part of what makes each cuff unique.

These details reflect the handcrafted nature of the product and the western lifestyle that inspired it.
